I agree that ivory or pure white pearls are the best. After you have all of the earrings, necklaces and bracelets that you need (if that is even possible) you might want to expand your inventory of pearl jewelry to include black girls and colored pearls but until I had all jewelry needs in white or ivory I would skip colored pearls.
