ANIMAL PRINT FLOOR COVERING
TIGER RUGS

There is no need for a jungle safari when you need tiger rugs. Thank goodness there seems to be some awareness that the majestic Tibetan tigers are one of the many wonders of our rapidly diminishing numbers of precious wildlife that should be protected.
Does that mean we can’t enjoy a beautiful tiger print area rug in front the fireplace or a soft, plush rug by the baby’s crib? Absolutely not, it’s just that we don’t have to kill these magnificent cats to have a faux tiger skin rug with a realistic wild animal print that does everything for the décor but growl, purr and scratch. One upside to manufactured tiger rugs over the real thing is that they are cheap compared to a real tiger skin.
Actually, it turns out that buying manmade tiger rugs that save the planet and protect the animals in the jungle from extinction is a whole lot less expensive than having somebody go kill a tiger simply to make a rug out of its hide.

Whether you want the traditional orange, yellow and black striped pattern or a child’s rug with a big picture of a white tiger is up to you and the style of your room. Rest assured that whichever may be your heart’s delight, there are tiger rugs out there that will decorate your floors or even your walls with lots of wild cat style. You can even combine animal prints such as zebra, cheetah and leopard with your tiger print for a fantastic blend of color and texture and you will be amazed at how well they all blend. Wild animal prints are hot in baby crib bedding and nursery wallpaper for jungle nursery themes in baby boy’s bedrooms and even come in pink prints for a baby girl’s nursery. It stands to reason that tiger rugs could transition into children’s nursery rugs as well as a warm floor covering for the den, game room or trophy room. Pick out the perfect set of African safari baby bedding and then cover the floors of your child’s room with a tiger rug in just the right size and shape. Make baby’s first steps cozy and the inevitable rough landings much softer and safer with an area rug inspired by nature. Echo the print with some pictures of big cats that you can have framed to make arrangements on the nursery walls and buy lots of picture books full of wild animals so that you can educate your baby and explain the reasons as to why he or she doesn’t have a real animal skin on the floor and the benefits to the natural world that come from your decision.
