Seeing Stripes - Beautiful Brown and Blue Baby Boy's Nursery

SHADES of BROWN and BLUE WALL NURSERY STRIPES with UNIQUE STRIPED WALL PAINTING TECHNIQUE

My baby boy's chocolate brown, tan and cornflower blue nursery is very modern with clean lines. I've always loved the colors blue and brown together and knew if one day when I had a little boy that those colors would be on his wall.

I came across the moon and stars bedding set on e-bay. I was so thrilled to see what I had always envisioned right there in front of my eyes and at my fingertips.

As soon as the bedding arrived I went straight to work. First, I had to tape the entire perimeter of the room with that blue painters tape. I then painted only the cornflower blue stripes for that day.

Day 2 was the coffee tan, and day 3 was the chocolate brown. At the end of the week, the hubby and I went to Home Depot to purchase the molding (chair rail). I have to award the credit to him for putting it up. The final touch was hanging a mirrored star above the changing table. The crib and dresser/changing table are a beautiful, rich espresso color.
