Safest Baby Carriers

Is there a list of the safest baby carriers somewhere that we can refer to because I would have to say that safety is the most important feature in a baby carrier, followed closely by comfort and then style. Along with being rated high for being safe, I believe the carrier should be comfortable for both mommy and baby. I have tried to use many different carriers and I find many to be either uncomfortable or confusing to use.

Christy, I'm not aware of a list of the safest baby carriers, but there are several sites that have tips for safe baby wearing practices and sites where moms give reviews and share their experiences with various products, Consumer Search does a good job of rating the sites that provide this information. They don't actually provide baby carrier reviews themselves but rate and recommend sites that do.
