Unlike some of the Pregnant Bikini Contests that we have seen, our contest will accept pictures of obviously pregnant tummies or even belly casts (if that's what you're comfortable with). This contest is nothing against the more toned and tanned mothers to be, but I wanted my pregnant tummy contest to be less serious and competitive and more lighthearted and fun.

Every pregnant tummy is beautiful and deserves its day in the sun. And this contest which is NOT your average Pregnant Bikini Contest, encourages you to submit your unembellished pictures, if you wish. OR you can add a little bit to the natural beauty of your enlarged stomach by decorating or embellishing it or even by wearing your favorite maternity clothes.
- Write something funny on your tummy or submit a line or two under the photo as a comment or slogan
- Create some kind of design on it
- Decorate your tummy with funky stickers
- Do something seasonal like an Easter, Fourth of July or Halloween theme
- Maybe safely (check that paint won’t hurt you) paint your tummy or add some funky embellishments
- Carefully stick on some accessories using some kind of PREGNANCY and BABY SAFE adhesives
Use your imagination and shoot for something comical, memorable or just plain cute to collection and encourage as many votes as you possibly can for our "NOT YOUR AVERAGE PREGNANT BIKINI CONTEST". What ever you decide might be the best way to win the prizes offered in our tummy contest, take care not to do anything that might put your self or your pregnancy in danger. Check with your doctor if you need to but we just want to tell you not to take any risks whatsoever just to win our silly contest.
RULES
We love to admire (and compared to our own of course) any and all pregnant tummy pictures, but don't submit copyrighted material. Once you submit your tummy pics they become the property of Unique Baby Gear Ideas, Nursery Themes and Nursery Decorating Ideas. Here are the "NOT YOUR AVERAGE PREGNANT BIKINI CONTEST" rules:
- Wait until you are at least six months pregnant to enter, or until you actually have a little bit of a tummy to show us.
- Along with your photographs of your (at least six months along) pregnant tummy, tell us your conception story. Give us the (non-sexy) details! Did you have fertility issues? If so what worked for you? Your experiences might be helpful to other couples struggling to conceive.
- Entrants should be at least 18 years old and citizens of the United States of America
- Show a little decency! We want to see pictures of your pregnant tummy not your cleavage or any other unmentionable areas! No naked pictures of pregnant women or risqué photography will be accepted, nor will I waste my time returning them. Keep it clean or get your entries kicked off contest. Remember SEXY is not the objective and our "NOT YOUR AVERAGE PREGNANT BIKINI CONTEST". I reserve the right to reject any pictures that are not in keeping with the family friendly nature of this baby website.
- Last date for entries will be December 31, 2008. Photographs will be judged and prizes awarded by February 1, 2009.
- Don't forget to include your email. It won't be used for anything except to award your prize if you win.
