Pregnancy Pictures from the Pregnant Bikini Contest

When Unique Baby Gear Ideas hosts a Pregnant Bikini Contest it is not exclusive to female bodybuilders or women who have spent their share of time in the gym. Our tummy contest is for those of us who are very proud of our pregnant bellies, proud enough that we want to share our pregnancy pictures and stories with everyone!

Unlike other Pregnant Bikini Contests, our contests accept pictures of pregnant tummies as well as belly casts (if that's what you're comfortable with). I wanted this pregnant tummy contest to be lighthearted, fun and to give mothers-to-be a chance to tell their story.

Creative parents might like to dress Mom's tummy up with a little paint before the maternity photo shoot.

Some of our visitors paint their baby bumps to celebrate holidays like Christmas, Easter and Halloween while others simply have fun with it and paint whenever the mood strikes.

By lighthearted, I mean that if you want to put on a funny costume, that's just fine so long as you are obviously pregnant and a pic of your belly is in the photo.

Here at Unique Baby Gear Ideas we believe that every pregnant tummy is beautiful and deserves its day in the sun au naturale or covered in belly art.

Here are a few ideas of ways to make your entry interesting:

Write a funny saying on your tummy or write a line or two under the photo
Have an artist paint a design on it
Decorate your tummy with stickers
Give your belly a seasonal theme ala Easter, Fourth of July or Halloween

Use your imagination and shoot for something comical, memorable or just plain cute to add to our photo gallery and encourage as many votes as you possibly can for your entry in the "NOT YOUR AVERAGE PREGNANT BIKINI CONTEST".

Whatever you decide, always take care not to do anything that might put yourself or your pregnancy at risk. Check with your doctor to be sure that what you're planning is safe and never take any risks just to win a silly contest.

RULES

We love to admire (and compared to our own of course) any and all pregnant tummy pictures, but don't submit copyrighted material. Once you submit your tummy pics they become the property of Unique Baby Gear Ideas, Nursery Themes and Nursery Decorating Ideas. Here are the "NOT YOUR AVERAGE PREGNANT BIKINI CONTEST" rules:

Wait until you are at least six months pregnant to enter, or until you actually have a little bit of a tummy to show us.
Along with your photographs of your (at least six months along) pregnant tummy, tell us your conception story. Give us the (non-sexy) details! Did you have fertility issues? If so what worked for you? Your experiences might be helpful to other couples struggling to conceive.
Entrants should be at least 18 years old and citizens of the United States of America
Show a little decency! We want to see pictures of your pregnant tummy not your cleavage or any other unmentionable areas! No naked pictures of pregnant women or risqué photography will be accepted, nor will I waste my time returning them. Keep it clean or get your entries kicked off contest. Remember SEXY is not the objective and our "NOT YOUR AVERAGE PREGNANT BIKINI CONTEST". I reserve the right to reject any pictures that are not in keeping with the family friendly nature of this baby website.
Last date for entries will be December 31, 2008. Photographs will be judged and prizes awarded by February 1, 2009.
Don't forget to include your email. It won't be used for anything except to award your prize if you win.
