Precious Moments Princess Nursery Theme

The basic design and decorating ideas for my baby girl's Precious Moments princess nursery theme were primarily my own with a little help from the nursery pictures that I saw on websites like this one and on Pinterest boards.


However,my love for my daughter was my biggest inspiration for this dream nursery!

I used a very pretty cherry wood crib for her bed and I used Precious Moments baby bedding and accessories to create the color scheme and theme.

I decorated with a lot of stuffed animals that complement her crib set, toy chest and table lamp.



Nursery Wall Decorating Ideas



I painted the walls in a shade of pink to match the colors in her crib set. Then I hung her name spelled out in letters on the wall over her crib surrounded by painted wooden butterflies.

I covered the windows with pink curtains that are slightly darker than the wall paint color for contrast.

To give my baby girl's room a feeling of family, I added some pictures of me and my husband so that she will remember she is surrounded by love!



I also have a little tent set up in my baby girl's nursery so she can play inside on rainy days like the little princess she is throughout her toddler years! On her nursery door there is a pink wooden decorative sign that has butterflies painted on it with this saying "A Princess Lives Here"!

I think my baby girl's pink princess nursery theme looks really pretty and I hope that others that visit Unique Baby Gear Ideas like it, too!

I love the idea of including a teepee or a little tent that matches the décor. I'm off to look for a tutorial for making one using the same fabric as my daughter's fitted crib sheet.

I would love to have this bed set for my precious moments nursery theme for my 1st child as well. But haven't been able to find it anywhere in stores or online if anyone can let me know where to get it. It would be greatly appreciated! :)

Love your ideas. I'm having a baby boy in 9 weeks and I'm a collector of Precious Moments so I've been searching high and low to find this exact bedding but it's out of stock everywhere.
