Fairy Garden Pink, Green and Yellow Nursery Decor

Fairy Garden Pink, Green and Yellow Nursery Decor

I tried to decorate our pink yellow and green fairy garden baby nursery theme so that the decor would not be so overwhelming like I've seen in some nurseries. I wanted to design a nursery that our baby girl could grow into and use throughout her childhood and not just while she is an infant.

My baby girl's room will without a doubt go through some major transitions what with the removal of baby gear and items associated with newborn care that are no longer necessary when she is older.

but the basic design of the space can easily be adapted to a "big girl" room with no problems.

We were lucky in the fact that my Mother offered to buy the bedding for the room. Otherwise we would have never been able to spend that much on crib bedding. I based the colors and the addition of the flowers on the wall on the bedding that was purchased from Pottery Barn Kids. The crib set was so cheerful and duplicating its colors in the wall paint and decor gave the entire room a light and breezy atmosphere that makes everyone that comes to visit smile. Isn't it funny how color can lift your spirits?

As I said, the room's color scheme was based on the Pottery Barn baby bedding set but the idea to use these colors in a fairy nursery theme came from some framed fairy pictures for a nursery that my dear husband and I bought from an art show. It is my favorite room in the house. We had so much fun decorating the pink yellow and green fairy garden baby nursery theme for our baby girl. We're planning on decorating the playroom next and I'm so excited! I hope that Unique Baby Gear Ideas has had half as fun seeing our project as we had working on it!
