Touch of Vintage Love Pink Baby Girl Nursery

Touch of Vintage Love Pink Baby Girl Nursery

This is our baby girl's pink nursery that we decorated with a touch of vintage love. The inspiration for her room was the baby bedding collection called "Alexis Garden".

The butterflies on the fabric of the crib set brought back fond memories of spending time with my Great Grandmother in her garden that had so many blooming flowers.

The colors in the space are very cheerful and happy just like the memories from my childhood.

My Aunt and I took our inspiration piece and started spending our spare time on the weekends shopping at the local antique malls.

We took an array of different items along with us to use for reference such as the floral globe hanging from the wall and the rocking chair and a chenille blanket that we used to make the window treatments and ottoman cover.

After we made our purchases and had the items in place, the look and feel of the room began to evolve and develope a look and feel of its own.

Starting with the fabric of the bedding and the antiques that we loved, our project began to flow.

How to Decorate a Pink Nursery for a Baby Girl

We combined the new items that we loved with the old treasures that we started with. Gradually, the elegant pink nursery that we had in mind that included with a touch of modern as well as vintage pieces with ageless, timeless style began to reveal itself and take shape.

I hope that other DIY decorators that visit Unique Baby Gear Ideas have enjoyed our vintage, pink nursery tour.

What I loved most about this nursery is the selection of furniture. Your choices are so beautiful, simple and elegant and don't overpower the room.

The "V" was painted by my Aunt and then glued to the antique frame we found.

The darker color on the far wall is Memorable Rose and the light pink is Charming Pink from Sherwin Williams.

The Canopy was also made from an an old candelabra. We turned it upside down and decorated it with pink beads and added curtains.

We were very fortunate to find most of the vintage decorations in the antique shops that we visited.

You never know what treasures you'll find!

Did you make the framed "V" wall letter for Vivian yourself?

I love it!

I love what you did with your baby girl's pink nursery!

Alexis Garden is exactly what I'm looking for for my nursery.

Do you remember what the name of the pink paint color was that you used for your nursery walls?

Also, where did you find the crib canopy or how did you make it?
