An Elegant Twin Walk In The Park Pink and Brown Toile Baby Girl Nursery Design

Our pink and brown twin girl nursery ideas turned out even better than we first envisioned. We were aware, expecting twin girls, that we would have limited space in a room that would have been a little small even for one baby.

Regardless, we knew that we had to make the most out of the room.

We didn't want to use an animation character or theatrical twin nursery theme.

We wanted to create an elegant, classy room for our baby girls that they could grow in.

Pink and Brown Nursery Ideas

We chose neutral wall paint colors that are very peaceful and calming. We paired it with pink and brown toile baby bedding, white nursery furniture and a white chandelier.

The twins cribs that we chose are simple but very versatile. They are convertible and transform to toddler beds that gives us the option to continue to use the same nursery design when we get to that stage.

We didn't want to do the usual "baby name on the wall" idea. Instead, we found monogram wall decals to decorate the area over the girls' cribs. The wall monograms are two of the most beautiful decorative features of the nursery but the key piece of our twin girls nursery decor is the antique, wrought iron baby bed that we bought about a year before we became pregnant. This piece has served as a changing table/day bed and it turned out beautifully after we reupholstered the the cushion and throw pillows in fabric that matched the pink and brown nursery bedding sets! We actually bought it the weekend that we chose to start a family, which makes it even more special. Our twins nursery decor is very unique and we are so proud of what we created. Our twin girls, Hadden and Kamryn seem to love it.

The antique baby bed is on the other wall, so it is not shown in this photo. I wish I could upload another picture!

Pink for Girls and Brown for Boys
by: Clarice

I am expecting a girl and a boy and wondered if anyone has any advice for decorating one half of the nursery (for our daughter) in pink and the other side (for our son) in brown. Is this something that will be feasible or is it better to just go gender neutral throughout the space?
