I am helping a friend decorate a pink owl and polka dots nursery theme for her baby girl that is due to arrive in a few months.

This couple is so excited after trying to conceive for several years.

She is so excited and ready for this little sweetheart to arrive and decorating this baby's room has been so much fun!

She had only one request as far as the decor was concerned; she wanted a nursery theme that included owls but that was not "all owl" as you will see in just a minute.

There aren't that many owl baby bedding sets for girls but she really likes this one.





We both fell in love with the crib quilt with appliqued baby owls on the branches of a tree covered in flowers. The squirrel, birds and the hedgehog were just frosting on the cake. Plus, the set had all of the owl nursery decor to match which was a good thing. Right? Wrong..Mom didn't want a "matched up" theme. And so the owl and polka dots baby nursery theme was born..only a few weeks before her baby girl as it so happened.

After all of the accessories that were available with the nursery bedding were rejected out of hand, we went in search of necessary items that came in a pink and white polka dot pattern.
The first piece added to the owl decorations in this baby girl nursery was this adorable nursery storage unit with three drawers.



Each of the three drawers is already filled with onesies, diapers, bibs and teethers that were received as gifts at her baby shower!

has a good price on the sheer white nursery curtains with pink polka dots that (I think) look so pretty with the other items that we've chosen AND we found an area rug in a color that reminds me so much of cotton candy that I can almost taste it!



Mom's happy with her baby girl's pink owl nursery and as we know, if Mom's happy everybody's happy!
