We first found the Sports nursery bedding set that you see in the nursery pictures and knew that it would be perfect for the baby's room.
The wall hangings were on display at a local shop near us and coordinates so well with the crib set.

Can you tell us what was the inspiration for your Baby's All Star Sports Nursery theme? Did you pick up your baby nursery ideas from a magazine, a framed poster, the fabric in the crib bedding set or did you just have a vision of what you wanted your baby's room to look like?

We loved the colors of the sports theme baby bedding and accessories and based all of our decorating decisions on the color scheme contained in the nursery set.


What brand of baby crib did you buy and where did you find it?

All of our nursery furniture is by Simmons and we happened upon it completely by chance at Burlington Coat Factory in the Baby Depot department.


What is the name of the sports theme baby bedding set that you fell in love with?

The name of the collection is the Cocalo All Sports baby bedding set.

Tell us about your choices in nursery window treatments, lighting, rugs, wall decor and accessories including the nursery wall letters spelling out the baby's name. Where did you buy them, were any of them homemade or family pieces?

A local retailer was the resource for all of the sports theme wall decor.


How long did it take you to decorate your miracle baby's all star sports nursery theme? What was your favorite part of the decorating process?

We worked on the nursery's design starting in the 3rd month of our surrogate's pregnancy. Buying items and putting them all together has been such a blast because we have been trying to have children for over 15 years.


Did you design the entire nursery on your own or did you have a professional decorator service to help you?

My Husband and I have designed the sports themed nursery ourselves.


What do you love most about your little baby boy's sports room?

I suppose that would be the custom, nursery ceiling fan and the wall outlet covers that match the fan. My Husband also made a dutch door that turned out amazing!! I Love the whole room :-)
