For baby girls, nothing could be nicer than window treatments and nursery rugs in hot pink or orange to showcase a set of lime green baby bedding. If you would like to take a walk on the wild side perhaps a set of purple and green nursery bedding might be worth a try. Those searching for something that is gender neutral could give yellow and green a shot. And last but not least is my personal favorite, lime green and navy baby bedding sets. Some say this color scheme works great for a preppy baby boys nursery design. But I have a picture in my mind of a layout using navy and white polka dots and bows tied from grosgrain ribbons that would be precious in a girl’s room.
LIME GREEN NURSERY THEMES
Chances are that any parent can find something to love in solid colors, retro floral prints, stripes and polka dots where the color green is the key ingredient. However, there are several nursery themes where this color bedding would fit beautifully that I would like to mention.
One of my favorites is green frog baby bedding in a rainforest nursery design decorated with brightly colored red eyed tree frogs that is completely gender neutral. Another one would be a robots or spaceship theme where you are free to splash whatever colors you choose with reckless abandon. Wouldn’t aqua robots and lime green spaceships look fantastic on a dark, black background?
Themes for girls where lime green bedding would really shine take on a sweeter flavor like a cotton candy theme or one that I have yet to use, fruit punch. The decorating ideas that I have dancing in my head for this unique theme focus on wedges of oranges, limes, lemons and bright red cherries. I will reveal more on this nursery design as it unfolds. For now, my favorite use for lime green crib bedding for girls uses a tropical fish style of decor or a safari theme with a set of lime green crib bedding in a zebra print.
I can think of so many ideas for how to decorate a nursery around a set of lime green baby bedding that it still puzzles me why my friends fail to see the potential for this lively, natural color.
