I was actually able to buy a modern ladybug necklace that matches the earrings beautifully. I plan to add a ruby and black onyx ladybug ring when my budget will allow and once I find one that I like. I hate to admit it, but most of the modern ladybug themed sets of jewelry that I find seem geared toward girls in a younger age group.
How can I tell that contemporary ladybug items are geared toward teen and preteen girls? In most collections, there are cute ladybug belly button and nose rings alongside the ladybug earrings and necklaces. Don’t take me wrong and think that I mean that modern stuff is bad. I like the idea of hair and body ladybug jewelry especially since they are so inexpensive. A funky pink or turquoise blue ladybug necklace just expands the ways that I can incorporate ladybugs of all colors into my wardrobe. Some of the items make unique baby shower gifts, especially when I know that my friend is a huge fan of ladybugs.
