Katia's Ladybug Nursery

Katia's ladybug nursery decor was inspired by the ladybug nursery bedding that was given to her as a Christmas gift. And after having tow baby boys, pale pink walls with a hint of red and black seemed perfect.

While brainstorming girl baby nursery ideas, ladybugs consumed me but not in a super-themey sort of way. Instead, I chose to use the colour palate of red, black and pink to create the nursery theme.

I purchased ladybug nursery wall stickers on Etsy.com and let them walk around the room.

My brother-in-law helped design a feature wall with a shelf to anchor the room. The treasures that I placed on top include books, black converse shoes and toys.

I hung three portraits of our little girl in solid black frames above her changing table and painted a small wall with black chalkboard paint. A ladybug night is perfect on the far wall.

I also had her name created in black and red wall letters from an Etsy store. The name decal is simple to apply and will be easy to peel off when it's time to turn Katia's ladybug nursery into a big girl room.

I love this room and I hope that our ladybug baby nursery pictures will inspires someone else to decorate their baby's room in ladybugs!
