Hot Pink and Lime Green Tropical Jungle Kingdom Baby Nursery Theme Pictures

I had dreams of a unique jungle kingdom nursery theme for my baby girl's room. I also had plans to use affordable, reasonably priced decorations and bedding to stay within a budget.

I used a broad palette of complementary colors and decorative items and you can see from the pictures that everything came together beautifully.

Jungle Kingdom Nursery Theme Ideas

I made the bright red baby bedding set myself using fabric that I found for the cheap price of just a dollar per yard at my favorite, local discount store, Walmart.

I made the entire set for a cost less than ten bucks.

Perhaps the most unique of all the decorations that I bought is a large, green canopy leaf to position over the crib that I found at Ikea. The leaf added a lot to the tropical rain forest feel of the baby's nursery theme and it only cost twenty bucks!

The butterflies decorating the wall behind the crib came as a set in a packet of butterflies from Target that cost two bucks. So, the bedding, the crib canopy and the butterfly wall decorations combined cost me $32.

Once I had the basics of the bed linens in place, I gathered the toys I had bought for my daughter and arranged some in the crib. I plan to change the toys out on a regular basis because children of all ages get bored with the same old toys and rotating them will give my baby girl something new to look while safely sheltered under the leaf canopy in her jungle kingdom nursery theme.

I love the giant jungle leaf canopy over the baby's crib. That really sets off the tone of the baby's jungle nursery. Very cool and natural looking.

For the prices mentioned in this article, I think this has to be one of the best crib settings possible. Kudos to Ms. Nizam! I totally agree with changing the baby toys on regular basis. Again, overall job well done!
