Ivannah's modern boho Scandinavian nursery ideas came directly from Pinterest. My daughter loves mid-century modern interior design and the eclectic bohemian look with a touch of glam.


We ended up blending the two styles together using her favorite colors, coral and peach.

The crib was purchased from WalMart. They were out of the white with walnut crib, so we bought white and blonde wood and I sanded and stained the blonde wood a dark walnut color.

Polka Dot Nursery Wall Ideas

She was not able to paint the walls due their home being a rental, so we purchased removable 5" metallic gold dot stickers from Amazon to put on the crib wall.

Creative Furniture and Painted Baby Dresser Ideas

The dresser was a flea market find that I sanded and painted white and stained the drawers and legs. I used brass cleaner on the hardware and they almost look like new.

The gold side table and horse lamp were bought from Dirt Cheap and I spray painted them gold.

Deer Nursery Ideas

The faux taxidermy is made of paper mache' and came from Hobby Lobby. The deer was painted gold to make it look more babyish and then I arranged the yarn on and around the antlers.

DIY Crafts for the Nursery

The yarn tassels were another idea we picked up from Pinterest. After seeing how much they cost, I did a DIY job and took the same approach with the giant pom poms draping the window.

The "Dream Big" globe is a secondhand $2.00 globe bought from a thrift store which I painted. I used my silhouette cameo to create the wording.

The wicker toy basket came from Burlington Coat Factory. It had white paint sprayed on it and I painted on the coral color to make it more feminine.


The rocking chair was bought on Amazon for $65 and the faux sheep skin came from TJMaxx. The shelving came from Lowe's. They were all white and I painted the brackets gold.

The crib sheet was purchased from etsy. The softies on the shelves came from etsy, from alexpress and a couple I made myself. The picture shelves were from Target and are used for books and the wood house shelf is from HobbyLobby and I painted it white and trimmed it in gold. The rug is from Target.
