FAIRY BABY SHOWER INVITATIONS
by Jilly
I made my own fairy baby shower invitations by printing this fairy clip art on the lower left corner of an 8x10 sheet of paper. Then I folded the 8x10 piece of paper in half and then folded it in half one more time.
I printed my wording using calligraphy on the inside of the card using colored ink because I like the personal touch of hand printed invitations but I could have used Paint Shop Pro to add another clip art image to the inside of my
fairy baby shower invitations by positioning the graphic so that it would be on the inside right hand page with the text regarding the shower details on the left.
To make the invites, I used antique white paper that weighs more than plain copier paper, envelopes in the same color and a pretty sticker to seal the flap.
Once I learned how to make my own
themed baby shower invitations, I rarely buy ready made. Not because homemade cards are cheap, but because they are just nicer, more personal and I can easily design cards for any
baby shower theme or party color scheme.
