Delta Luv Crib Replacement Parts - the Lower Plastic Guide and Hardware

I need to find the Delta Luv Crib replacement parts that I have posted in the pictures above so that I can finish up our baby's nursery. Please let me know if you have the or have a contact number for where I can order the lower plastic guide for the Luv crib (I think it's called the Delta Luv).


The crib is missing one piece and I also need to buy all four (4) wheels as they are also gone.

 If any of you know how and where I might find a replacement for this piece (the lower plastic guide), please get in touch with me as soon as you can. I'm trying to make the necessary repairs by the beginning of March at the very latest because that's around the time that I'm due to deliver.

I hope that someone can you help me!

Here is some extra information on the crib.

I need Delta Luv crib replacement parts for crib model number 4750-1 and my order number = S22256. I wasn't sure if you needed the order number but I included it anyway in case it helps. thank you

The first order of business in finding replacement parts for baby cribs is to contact the manufacturer if they are still in business. And you are luck since Delta hasn't declared bankruptcy and shut its doors like so many other companies that have left consumers with no way to get replacement parts and instruction manuals.

A few of Unique Baby Gear Ideas' visitors said that they went to the Delta Children website and contacted their consumer care department to see if they would be willing to ship the part they were looking for.

You might try that and while you are speaking with them; ask if they can check to see if your Model 4750-1 Delta Luv crib was included in a recall.

We are a family that was in the flood in Lafayette Louisanna. We had furnishing donated to us. This include a crib that didn't come with any parts to put it together. I'm asking if I can get the replacement parts to put it together.

I called Delta at seven one eight 385 8453 and the customer service representative informed me that those parts are discontinued and that the crib will need an immobilizer kit to make it safe.

If you will call them they will take your name and address and then ship you the immobilizer kit.

To be sure that you are getting the correct kit you will need to have the Delta model number on hand when you call.

The luv / delta cribs were recalled for the drop down sides. You can convert the crib but it's up to each parent to decide whether or not they feel that replacement hardware makes an old crib safe and more reliable.

Crib checklist:
1. Check to see that the crib's mattress is a snug fit. There should never be any more than two fingers between the crib and the mattress.
2. There should be no more than 3 1/2 inches between the slats or dowels of the crib's sides and all should be firmly in place not loose.
3. There should be no broken or cracked wooden or metal pieces
4. Parents should replace a crib that is older or questionable as far as safety guidelines are concerned.

Those are some basic guidelines. Replace cribs that have been part of a recall such as those with drop down sides.

It's a good idea to check screws and bolts once every month or so to be certain everything is tight and properly in place.

This crib was involved in Delta's 2008 recall. You should visit the website that the webmaster indicated as an answer to your post and request that the company mail you the secondary safety peg, which goes on the lower track and prevents the dropside from lowering past a certain point. They will send you out the kit
as well as any other parts that you request.
