I know that I should have using chemical free laundry detergent and baby products all along. It pains me to admit that it took the arrival of my third and fourth baby girls with their many allergies and skin problems to recognize the need to reduce my family’s exposure to chemicals and find products that were more baby safe.

The day the package containing the chemical free laundry detergents and baby products from EcostoreUSA arrived, the bottle of laundry liquid was knocked off the counter in the kitchen, the cap broken and a small amount leaked onto the floor before I quickly picked the bottle up. If the product was not so thick and highly concentrated I would have had a real mess on my hands.

Before I could get a towel to clean up the spill, my toddler took a stroll through it. The whole time I was washing the soap off, I wondered if her little foot would be blistered from direct contact with the concentrate.

You would understand my concerns if you had seen the rash that she got when I washed her baby clothes in Dreft. But, she never got the first bump from stepping in the chemical free laundry detergent (YMMV) ! No itchy spots, no breakouts; nothing AND my wash came out SO much softer than it had with the powder that I had been using!

Because of their skin conditions, I have had to be ever so careful about everything my baby girls wear and the quality of the very air they breathe. Finding safe soaps, shampoos and chemical free laundry detergents and baby products is more of an issue than you could ever imagine.

Being on board with green living, recycling and buying organic foods whenever possible you might think that I would have had a problem with the chemicals that mainstream laundry products leave behind on our sheets and clothing but I was reluctant to give up my favorite powder because I felt that I needed a detergent on my side that was (as it professed to be) stronger than dirt. Then, along came my third sweet baby girl who suffered from eczema and soon after, her sister who not only has eczema but every allergy under the sun.

I am so glad that I found ECOSTOREUSA while searching for chemical free laundry detergent and that Lyne convinced me to give their laundry liquid and fabric whitener a trial run. It gives me great pleasure to report in this review that this winning combination has lightened stains on the baby’s clothes and made the family wash brighter without irritating the girls’ sensitive skin.
