Chemical Free Dishwasher Detergent

I want to try some of the chemical free dishwasher detergent to see if there is a green, eco-friendly dishwasher soap substitute that will get my dishes clean up to my standards in the dishwasher without leaving a film on my glasses or a chalky residue like all the discount store name brands that are full of bleach and other nasty stuff that we should be trying to keep out of our water supply.

During the holiday season when I set the table with my fine china and crystal, I would feel much better about washing them with chemical free dishwasher detergent and might give this a try rather than staying up all night or missing out on the fun washing the dinner dishes by hand to avoid running the risk of pitting to my stemware and damaging the appearance of my formal dinnerware.
