Bedalia Baby Carrier Pattern

I like the fresh look of the green and white Bedalia baby carrier pattern. The leaf print of the fabric is one of my favorites.

I understand the need for the stain camouflage capabilities that the dark fabric around the top edge of the carrier provides, but I have to wonder if a lighter color than black might have been best. Will the black fabric draw too much heat in warm months?

What I look for when shopping for a carrier is a style that keeps the baby really close to me while giving me assurance that my baby boy is safe. He was always really close to me when he was in my belly and I want to keep it that way.

What I buy also has to be comfortable for me, since I do a lot of walking.

I also want it to look good and be able to coordinate with what I'm wearing. This is why the Bedalia Baby Carrier Pattern is very attractive to me.
