Beatrix Potter Baby Nursery Theme

I painted the walls of my Beatrix Potter baby nursery theme a pale shade of blue to create a smooth, clean surface in prepararation for the murals that I knew that I wanted to paint on the baby's walls.
After choosing my favorite pictures of Flopsy, Mopsy and Peter Cottontail from the Beatrix Potter storybooks, I chose the locations where I thought the artwork would look best and started to draw the basic outlines of the designs.
I used a color palette that closely resembled Miss Potter's illustrations because it was very important to me to maintain the feeling of sweetness and innocence of the watercolor paintings.
After I finished hand painting all the murals in my
Beatrix Potter baby nursery theme. We installed a new ceiling fan and my mother in law bought the fabric and made the window treatments. I love this room and I hope that you enjoy the pictures half as much as I enjoyed painting them.
