Baby William's Forest Animals Nursery

I'm so pleased that photographer, Cristy Cross, has invited us to take a tour of baby William's forest animals nursery! Her baby boy's woodland themed nursery is full of enchanting creatures including birds, deer, trees and many more decorations that we are about to reveal. Nature lovers are sure to appreciate this mom-to-be's DIY attitude and all of the rustic homemade decorations.

The color scheme of the custom bedding set is gray, white and yellow. The individual pieces are made from a variety of fabrics all of which complement each other beautifully as you can see from the view between the spool rails of the Jenny Lind crib that was Cristy's when she was a baby.


The rustic, iron letter on the wall at the end of William's bed adds an earthy, masculine touch to the space.








The baby's initial personalizes and fills the space without overowering the wall mural.






A stuffed red fox adds a bright pop of color and contrast while his partner repeats the same shade of bright yellow found in William's crib set.



Across the room from where the baby sleeps, there is a comfortable seating area perfect for reading that is lit by a modern, yellow floor lamp.






A wooden, whitetail deer silhouette decorates the wall behind the sitting area while a fluffy, deer pillow adds a layer of comfort to the nursery chair.





The baby's crib mobile is made from a real tree branch that has adorable, fuzzy forest creatures dangling from pieces of twine. The colors of the animals decorating the mobile are very subdued with the exception of the crafty, red fox.




I couldn't resist giving our visitors a closer view of this little fellow.







The fox is the most colorful animal on the baby's crib mobile and has such a sweet smile.





The fox may be the most colorful critter on William's mobile but the raccoon is SO cute!





How sweet is this raccoon? Cristy's photographs do such a wonderful job of capturing all of the forest animals' personalities.
