What better way to get the most current baby girl names or baby boy names out there? No doubt that at first the list will be short, but you should bookmark the page and monitor it closely because I can guarantee that in time it will grow. I realize that to some of the moms that will land on this page looking for cool names for their babies, the concept may seem silly.

But, I believe that it’s the personal touch that will make this baby names list special (or unusual) as most names lists are pretty non-personal. My vision for this very special baby names list is that it will include real names of the very best babies to share with other parents. At the end of the year, we can take votes and make our own list of the most popular baby names list of the year!

If lots of moms send us their baby's names we may find the need to divide the names into categories like favorite southern baby names, best redneck names (only the submitter can make that call), best double names or great names for twins, but we will cross that bridge when we come to it.

Here's my list of unique baby names that I love and I think you will find several that you love, too. Here are a few names that I have come upon recently to get us started!
