Patricia Melcher has been chosen as the winner of the Action Baby Carrier Giveaway. Her was number 10 of the 36 total entries that were submitted was chosen at random and she will have until December 14, 2009 to claim her prize, an Action Baby Carrier.

I love the Bedalia print and I look for a carrier that will provide comfort for me and my baby.

CASCADE BABY CARRIER

I have had my eye on the Cascade baby carrier since last year and it's my favorite but I can't seem to find it on the official website!

I really liked the green fabric as far as the looks of the carrier.

When shopping I look for ones with the sleeping hood. I feel this feature would come handy both to keep the baby warm in winter and to keep the sun out of his eyes and off his sensitive skin in spring and summer.

If this print is not available, I would gladly choose one of the available patterns because they are just as cute. But if the manufacturer happened to have one of the Cascade baby carriers still in inventory, I would be very pleased to win it as a prize!

FREE BABY CARRIER ALTERNATE WINNER

The first name that was drawn to win an Action Baby Carrier did not respond so an alternate winner of the free baby carrier has now been drawn.

The lucky mom that has been chosen in the second round is Nancy of Glendale Arizona who submitted a comment saying that she liked the Minton Blue pattern in entry #14.

Nancy has been contacted via email and will have three days or until December 23, 2009 to claim her prize.

I know this is a busy time of year and entrants may not check their email boxes regularly. So, let's keep our fingers crossed that our winner finds a quiet moment to discover that she has won some really cool, free baby stuff before the deadline.

Galaxy Pattern Baby Carrier

The Galaxy pattern baby carrier with those hot pink and lime green polka dots got my attention immediately when I visited the product page of the website.

But I must say that if I were buying a carrier for a newborn hoping to get over a year's use, the black background of the fabric might be a concern because of the heat and humidity we have here from spring to fall. As another contestant mentioned, black is not a good color for hot, sunny climates.

The thing about this carrier is that the Galaxy pattern baby carrier is so cute that I would buy it even if I only used it during the cooler months of the year.

As far as what I look for, I shop for comfort for both myself and the baby. I want to be comfortable and have the feeling that the carrier is secure in all positions. And the fact that this one allows for multiple positions including front and rear carry is a positive feature. I also, of course, like that pretty polka dot print fabric!

I hope I win the free baby carrier giveaway because I already own the Larissa and my husband and I both love it.

I like the looks of the Minton Blue Action Baby Carrier and that this carrier holds a baby up to 40lbs. I don't know much about slings and carriers as I'm pretty new to this but this one looks really nice.

MINTON PINK BABY CARRIER

I visited the sponsor's site and chose the Minton Pink Baby Carrier as my favorite and hope that it is one of the existing prints that will be offered as a prize that I can win in the free baby carrier giveaway contest.

When shopping for a sling or carrier to buy for my baby, I look for one that appears to be made of good quality fabric and construction. Another thing that is important to me is that I like a product that the baby can be in for more than just a few months. I understand from your baby carrier review that the pretty Minton pink baby carrier can be used until the child weighs 40 pounds which makes this item even more appealing and attractive.

Bedalia Baby Carrier Pattern

I like the fresh look of the green and white Bedalia baby carrier pattern. The leaf print of the fabric is one of my favorites.

I understand the need for the stain camouflage capabilities that the dark fabric around the top edge of the carrier provides, but I have to wonder if a lighter color than black might have been best. Will the black fabric draw too much heat in warm months?

What I look for when shopping for a carrier is a style that keeps the baby really close to me while giving me assurance that my baby boy is safe. He was always really close to me when he was in my belly and I want to keep it that way.

What I buy also has to be comfortable for me, since I do a lot of walking.

I also want it to look good and be able to coordinate with what I'm wearing. This is why the Bedalia Baby Carrier Pattern is very attractive to me.
